Chambers UK 2026 Ranks Arnold & Porter Practices, Lawyers

Chambers UK continues to highlight Arnold & Porter as a “Leading Firm” in the UK, with the publication’s 2026 guide recognizing six of the firm’s practice areas and 15 lawyers as “Leading Individuals.” The annual legal guide assesses firms and individuals based on interviews, submissions, and work highlights.

The 2026 guide once again ranked the firm’s UK Life Sciences: Product Liability and Life Sciences: Regulatory practices in Band 1. Clients and peers praised the practices for navigating the complex regulatory framework associated with pharmaceuticals and life sciences, and for defending manufacturers in sensitive and closely watched product liability disputes, noting, “they provide consistently high-quality advice in complex matters and have unparalleled industry and business insights.”

Chambers UK also lauded the firm’s Corporate Crime & Investigations practice for its ability to “handle cases of very real complexity,” highlighting the department’s “high standards” and strong motivation “to achieve results for its clients.” The guide also recognized the Financial Crime: Individuals practice, stating that Arnold & Porter “has a well-respected practice” and “performs without flaws.” The firm’s International Arbitration: Investor-State Arbitration practice was described as “extremely good at handling very complex matters” and stood out “for its deep expertise in investment arbitration, the direct involvement of senior partners, and exceptional client service,” while the Public International Law practice was highlighted for demonstrating “diligence, attention to detail, and the highest standards of quality” with an “excellent roster of highly experienced ISDS and commercial arbitration counsel.”
