Arnold & Porter Announces the Election of New Partners and Counsel

WASHINGTON, DC December 15, 2020 — Arnold & Porter is pleased to announce the election of six new partners and five new counsel, effective January 1, 2021.

Partners
 
Henry Almond is a member of the International Trade practice and resident in the Washington, DC office.  He earned his JD from The George Washington University Law School and received his BA from George Washington University, cum laude.

Catherine Brandon, a member of the Life Sciences and Healthcare Regulatory practice, is resident in the Washington, DC office.  She earned her JD from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, cum laude, and received her AB from Brown University, magna cum laude.

Sarah Gryll
is a member of the Bankruptcy and Restructuring practice and resident in the Chicago office.  She earned her JD from Emory University School of Law and received her BA from Yale University.

Diana Sterk, a member of the Product Liability Litigation practice, is resident in the New York office.  She received her JD from Northwestern University School of Law, cum laude, and received her BS from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Kevin Toomey is a member of the Financial Services practice and resident in the Washington, DC office.  He earned his JD from Syracuse University College of Law and received his BA from Colgate University.

Dr. Wallace Wu, a member of the Intellectual Property & Technology practice, is resident in the Los Angeles office.  He earned his JD from Santa Clara University School of Law,  PhD from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and his BS from the University of Kansas with High Distinction.

Counsel

Dov Bobker is a member of the Real Estate practice and resident in the New York office.  He earned his JD from Columbia Law School, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar.  He received his MTL and BTL from Ner Israel Rabbinical College.

Athanasia Gavala is a member of the Antitrust/Competition practice and resident in the Brussels office.  She earned her LLM from New York University School of Law, where she received the Dean’s Graduate Award. She received her first LLM from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens School of Law, summa cum laude, and LLB from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens School of Law, magna cum laude.

Chad Pearlman is a member of the Corporate & Finance practice and resident in the New York office.  He earned his JD from Georgetown University Law Center, cum laude, and received his BA, from the University of Pennsylvania, cum laude.

William Perdue, a member of the firm’s Appellate and Supreme Court practice, is resident in the Washington, DC office.  He earned his JD from Yale Law School, and received his BA from Yale College, summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa.  

Assad Rajani is a member of the Intellectual Property & Technology practice, resident in the Silicon Valley office.  He earned his JD from the University of California School of Law (Berkeley) and received his BA from Syracuse University, with honors (quadruple major).
